What: The City of Palos Heights will hold a memorial ceremony featuring reflection, music and several elected officials.

When: 11 a.m., Sept. 11

What: is from the Pentagon and the Pennsylvania crash site. The ceremony is open to the public and will feature remarks by a Moraine Valley professor.
Where: St. Luke the Evangelist Orthodox Church, 10700 South Kean Avenue in Palos Hills.

Palos Park
What: Palos Park will participate in the Moment of Remembrance and will sound police and fire sirens and church bells on Sunday.
Where: The best place to hear the sirens is probably t near the firehouse and police station.
When: Noon, Sept. 11.
