Starbucks claims the particular beans that make the brew, which are called Geisha heirloom varietals, are rare and that justifies the price, the LA Times reports.

Of course, you can visit the Palos Heights Starbucks, located at 7202 W College Dr., to see what they offer.

How about it? Would you drop $7 for a rare cup of coffee? Tell us in the comments.

I would have to taste it first. Just as anything else, where taste is concerned, if it is outstanding, it would be worth it. I don't think I would do it on a regular basis however, but it would be a nice treat.
