The Bears Are On The Road, But Fan's Have Plenty Of Game Time Options in Palos

Below is a list of some of the local restaurants and bars that have specific specials for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

The Bears face a tough road game this Sunday as they take on the New Orleans Saints. Chances are you're not going to be in the stands, but you can find many neighborhood places  to grab your game day grub and suds.

Many local bars in town will offer a complementary buffet plate at half-time, while others will roll out some specials on beer and food. It's no fun to yell at or cheer on a team by yourself, so head out and join the crowds to cheer on Da Bears!

The Ristuccis say they started free halftime buffets and still have one of the best. You can expect a lot more than just chicken wings and pizza. Enjoy the full menu, changing beer specials and watch the game on any of the flat screens surrounding the bar.

Joe Daniels also does a free halftime buffet at their cozy bar off of Harlem Avenue. All are welcome, but if you want the free grub don't be late. You have to arrive before the second quarter if you want a plate.

No matter what happens on the field, your wallet will win at Mo's with the $25 package. Beginning at kick off and ending when the game does, enjoy unlimited domestic beer, wine or well drinks. To fill your food needs you get unlimited chips and salsa and a free sandwich. Sandwich choices include chicken, cheeseburgers or pot roast.  sandwich.

McDivot's will offer a free buffet to patrons watching the game at half time and throughout the weekend has a $15, 6-beer bucket special on domestics. McDivot's has plenty of TV's so you won't miss a minute of the action.

Zante's will get things fired up with $2 domestic bottles throughout the game and also a free half-time buffet with wings, pizza and more.

Sam Buca's in Palos Heights and Orland has a halftime buffet as while as some nice drink specials: $10, five-beer buckets ($15 for imported beer) and $3 Bloody Marys if you're not one to crack a beer before lunch.
