Win Over $400 in Gift Cards from Patch and Local Businesses

Enter to win an Orland Park Holiday Gift Card Basket, full of certificates to local businesses. Subscribe to Patch for free and you get a chance to win — and help us with Hurricane Sandy relief.

We are feeling festive this year. But we also need to help our friends still struggling with the Hurricane Sandy aftermath.

With those two thoughts in mind, we created the Orland Park Holiday Gift Card Basket.

Sign up for our daily newsletter via the form above, and enter our drawing to win about $380 in gift cards from local businesses.

In return for the great help from our local businesses, Orland Park Patch will make a donation to Hurricane Sandy relief equal to the total dollar amount of the complete gift basket.

Check out what you could win from our local businesses:

  • Baby’s Cheesesteak and Lemonade: $25 gift card
  • Best Buy: $20 gift card
  • Blissful Banana Café: $20 gift card
  • Bloomingfield’s Florist: $25 gift certificate
  • Café Gaston: two $20 gift certificates
  • Cheesecake Factory: $25 gift card

Another Easy Way to Help with Sandy Relief

You can help rebuild communities hit by Hurricane Sandy by simply sending a tweet. For every tweet sent with the hashtag #PatchRebuilds, we will donate $1 to the AmeriCares Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Fund, up to $125,000.

Your contribution will go toward medical and humanitarian aid, grants and programs to help Sandy survivors.

You can simply tweet the hashtag #PatchRebuilds, or go to rebuilds.patch.com and tweet directly from the site.

There should be a form that shows up above the article, under headline. What browser are you using? Try using Firefox or Chrome and it should show up. We've had a bunch of entries already so I know it's working on my end.

Also, you could try updating browser, depending on what you are using. Google whichever one you are using and the word 'update.' That also might work.

Right above the orange box that says "Breaking" you will see "Join" and "Sign In". Click "Join". I thought I was a member from a couple months ago but it let me join just now so I know I am entered in the drawing.

Folks, two quick things. You can only sing up once, and you don't need to be logged in to see the entry form up top. If you can't see the form, you should first close completely out of your browser and come back in. If you still can't see it, try upgrading your browser. If you're using IE, try Firefox, Chrome or Safari. And feel free to email me with any questions. Benjamin@patch.com
