A much-anticipated remodeled McDonald's restaurant and drive-thru in Palos Heights held its grand opening over the weekend.
The fast-food spot on 127th Street is the latest restaurant offering for the city. In three months, McDonald's demolished the old building and popped up a new one.

This brand-spanking new building features a double drive thru and an updated design and facade.
The real question is: does this new look come with an upgraded operation, too? A number of customers weren't thrilled with the service at the old spot. Palos Patch readers on Facebook gave their initial reactions as the restaurant powered through its first few days of flipping burgers and making fries.

Much of this was said before... The management needed to be changed more than the building...
I personally have always left that restaurant satisfied and appreciate that the owner is willing to invest so much in our community. Did anyone go to the grand opening? How much free food did they give away? I had a chance to win a computer. Above and beyond. See you all there real soon. Ill be the guy smiling.
Funny that their line is always packed, and I have never even seen a body in the inside of that Wendy's.
Regarding this location, I've never had a problem with the service, and it's always packed every time I go...they must be doing something right!
