Pizza Playoffs: Who's the Best in Palos

Patch is looking for the best pizza in the south suburbs. Get your picks in for your favorite pie in the Palos area.

With Super Bowl on the immediate horizon we thought it would be the perfect time to delve into the most controversial topic in the south suburbs. Who serves up the best pizza?

Over the course of the next few days we will be stacking up the best locally owned pizza shops against each other. We want to end up with the strongest pizza in Palos so we can top all those other suburbs who think they are home to the best pies around. (I will be inconsolable if a Lincoln-Way area site wins.)

We are focusing on locally owned places. Independently owned shops with maybe a few locations at the most. No franchises.

Here’s how it works:

  • Nominate your favorite pizza place in the comments or on the Palos Patch Facebook page.
  • ONE winner will emerge from the Palos contenders so get ready to vote, vote and vote, and vote again. The Palos winner will go on to compete against seven other winners from Oak Lawn-Evergreen Park, Orland, New Lenox, Tinley Park-Oak Forest, Frankfort-Mokena, Homewood-Flossmoor and Chicago Heights-Olympia Fields.
  • This rounds voting kicks off Feb. 2 is open until midnight Feb. 5.

You should also leave a review of your favorite place in town and help out their online presence.
