Palos Park Mansion Hits the Auction Block

Owners of a 6,000 square foot home in Palos Park are looking to unload the property quickly.

Owners of a large Palos Park home are opting to forego the traditional approach and will instead turn to the block.

In a press release from Diliberto Real Estate Services announcing the sale, the home at 10749 Cherrywood Drive is described as "a magnificent, stately mansion."

It seems that by bypassing the normal sales route and opting for an auction that might draw some media interest, the owners are hoping for a quicker sale than the sluggish market might allow for.
