Edgardo Tenreiro is no longer Chief Executive Officer at the Palos Heights-based hospital.

Newcomer CEO of Palos Community Hospital is no longer employed with the Palos Heights-based hospital—after less than three months since his start date.

Edgardo Tenreiro, 50, started at Palos in November 2013. Previously he served as Chief Operations Officer at Baton Rouge Regional Medical Center in Louisiana. He assumed the PCH CEO role from Sister Margaret Wright, who led the 362-bed hospital for more than 30 years.

Hospital spokespeople declined comment.
