New Wendy's Opening Tuesday

In business news, the national, fast-food burger chain has built a new location in Palos Heights. Meanwhile, McDonald's is expected to open up in November and a new religious gifts store is coming to Harlem Avenue.

The City of Palos Heights regularly keeps residents up on the newest comings and goings in the business community.

Palos' most recent news involves a couple of burger joints that you've probably seen before.

Wendy's, the burger fast-food chain, has a new location at 12875 S. Harlem Avenue. It's part of the new Jewel-Osco redevelopment project.

Those who desire one of their Old Fashioned Hamburgers with the square patties can rejoice. The new location opens today, Oct. 23.

Burger lovers will have to wait just a little while longer for Golden Arches to return. The redeveloped McDonald's, just a block away from Wendy's, is expected to open at the end of November.

McDonald's is remodeling after demolishing its older store at 7100 W. 127th St.

Moving away from fast food, Palos will have an option for those searching out for religious knickknacks.

Heaven Sent Gifts is coming to 12327 S. Harlem Ave. in the old International House of Couture. The store specializes in religious goods and gifts.

Good news for Harlem Avenue.
