Mall Pizza Chain Files for Bankruptcy Again

The chain has a location in Orland Square Mall.

The New York-based Sbarro pizza chain has filed for bankruptcy for the second time in less than three years.

The eatery, which has a location in Orland Square Mall, filed for Chapter 11 protection from creditors on Monday, according to NBC Chicago.

The chain, which listed between $100 million and $500 million in both assets and liabilities in its court filing, previously filed for Chapter 11 in 2011.

Last month, the pizza chain said it was closing more than 150 stores nationwide, according to the Washington Post.
