Are you looking for unique clothes from customer focused shops? Local boutiques are a great place to find things that just aren't offered in big department stores. Luckily, the Palos area is filled with some great options. Click on each store's name to read longer profiles.

1. Cleo Boutique - This boutique aims to offer unique items for all occasions. The selection of women's clothing is aimed to appeal to a variety of tastes and generations.

2. Golden Shoes -  A favorite of area families, this shoe store offers a unique atmosphere of customer service.  Long a source of uniform school shoes, the store has been in business for decades.

3.  Take Me Home - Located in Palos Park this shop offers jewelry, artwork and home decor items. The merchandise frequently changes, but top-selling brands include Vera Bradley purses and Trollbead bracelets.

4. Celtic Cottage - Celtic Cottage brings over “the best of Ireland” from authentic wool clothing, to brown bread, Waterford and more. In addition, the store operates as a full-service jeweler offering design, repair and sales.

5. Shirley's Place - Antiques are the focus of this recently opened shop. Owner Shirley Neumann works to create a community atmosphere where locals feel comfortable stopping in to browse and for a quick chat.
