MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER
INFO SESSION TO BE HELD APRIL 5TH
Volunteers working on the inaugural Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Palos Heights, will host a info session on Thursday, April 5th at 6:00pm – 7:00pm. at Alan B. Shepard High School located 13049 S. Ridgeland. Residents are invited to attend to learn more about the Making Strides event.
“We are so excited to bring this nationally acclaimed walk to our community, said volunteer Public Relations/ Sponsorship Chair Jackie Webb. There is so much we can do for our neighbors, families, and companies through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Anyone can get involved and help our community fight back against breast cancer. The 5K non-competitive walk will be held on Saturday, May 19th starting at Trinity Christian College/Bootsma Bookstore Café then through the Navajo Heights neighborhood. Teams of walkers will complete a 5K course and take part in activities before/after the walk.
