Business Comings and Goings: New Burrito Spot and Bar and Grill Open, Half-Off Pizza

Lucky Burrito

A new Mexican spot has opened at 12353 S. Harlem Ave. in Palos Heights. Lucky Burrito occupies the storefront formerly used by Tio's Tacos. In addition to the new Palos Heights location, Lucky Burrito also has a location in Frankfort.

They specialize in the namesake burritos and also have the usual line up of Mexican fare.

Addition to Holy Family

, a nursing home facility in Palos Park, was given approval Monday night by the for a new addition to the complex. 

Located at 12220 Will-Cook Road, the facility will construct a new structure that will house 30 beds. The addition will keep with the character of the existing building. 

Back in Business

The former has reopened under new ownership as X's & O's.

Located at 6405 W. 127th Street, the bar and restaurant sports a refurbished interior with new furniture. Lunch specials will be offered, and the menu will highlight steaks and sandwiches. The owners already operate a location of the same name in Bridgeview. 

Jewel Project

The new buliding on Harlem Avenue and 127th Street is moving along. Expected to open later this summer, the new building is being constructed behind the currently existing store. 

A new sign was installed on 127th Street this week that also lists Wendy's. The fast food restaurant will occupy an outlot in the new development.

Half-Off Pizza

In recognition of their first anniversary, , 13405 S. Ridgeland, will be offering half-off pizzas all day on March 28.
