Hundreds of Shepard artists, performers at Arts Extravaganza on Saturday

The Friends of Community High School District 218 Education Foundation will host their fifth annual Arts Extravaganza on Saturday, April 26 at Shepard High School

Shepard is located at 13049 S. Ridgeland Avenue in Palos Heights.

Both a fund raiser and a celebration of student talents in drama, speech, music, visual and the culinary arts, the event will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Students from Eisenhower, Richards and Shepard high schools will share the spotlight in a wide varsity of arts.

The event will feature hundreds of Shepard artists and performers from the award-winnng Jazz Band, show choir (NOVA), percussion ensemble (Flam and Cheese), speech team, Group Interpretation, Improv Army, and Performance-In-The-Round.

The ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres prepared by culinary arts students. Tickets are available at the door or in the Activities offices at each district school on weekdays.

Tickets are $10 for adults 18 to 59 and $5 for students and senior citizens age 60 and older.

Tickets include food, an amazing variety of Southern comfort favorites.
