Pop's 2nd Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest

Pop's is hosting its second annual Hot Dog Eating Contest as part of Palos Heights Fest.

Police and firefighters will compete at 6:30 p.m. for charity, while the public contest will start at 7:30 p.m.

Contestants will have 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs (with bun) as they can. The winner gets $500. There also is a second and third prize.

Comedian Bill Brady will be emcee during the contest.
