Musical: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Students from Andrew, Sandburg and Stagg High Schools will share the stage for District 230’s third annual district-wide summer show: The 25thAnnual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Performances start on Thursday, June 28 and run through Saturday, June 30 at Stagg High School Performing Arts Center.

$8 General Admission
$5 with Student ID to any school
$5 Senior Citizen (60+)
All proceeds go to the District 230 Foundation, a nonprofit organization of community volunteers and school leaders dedicated to providing educational opportunities and services for students at Andrew, Sandburg and Stagg High Schools beyond the traditional means.
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee tells the story of six smart adolescents anxiously competing for the spelling championship of a lifetime.
This production has been performed at Off-Broadway’s Second Stage Theatre. It later moved to Broadway’s Circle in the Square, after breaking box office records. The production has received outstanding reviews and won two 2005 Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical and Best Featured Actor.
Stagg Performing Arts Center Director Brandon Lewis is the director for the District 230 Foundation production.
