Video: Canoe or Kayak at Lake Katherine
Canoes and kayaks are now available for hourly rental at Lake Katherine Nature Center in Palos Heights.
Starting Monday, May 14 canoes and kayaks are available for rental at in Palos Heights.
Rentals will be available through October on Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $8 per person, per hour. Participants must be six years of age or older and children under 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Paddling across the 10-acre lake offers a unique perspective of the serene grounds. Rentals include two one-person kayaks, two three-person canoes and six two-person canoes.
