The New Guy in Town

Dan Lambert has said his goodbyes. It's now time to say "Hello!" to the new Palos Patch editor.

Editor is taking on an exciting new undertaking in Patch. He will soon launch Beverly Mount Greenwood Patch—the first Patch ever to enter the City of Chicago.

While Dan is changing his primary role, you’ll probably still see his name pop up occasionally. He's leaving behind some big shoes to at Palos Patch and I'm excited for the chance to fill them.

Several months ago, I experienced my first real taste of the south suburbs. I was brought on to helm the Oak Forest Patch site. I met wonderful people in Oak Forest and have grown to understand what life is like in the Southlands. I want to bring to Palos Patch the same level of enthusiasm and interest in the local happenings that I've experienced in Oak Forest.

I launched St. Charles Patch before coming to the south suburbs about two years ago. St. Charles was one of the first cities I covered back in my newspapers days and it was there that I learned what makes a community tick.

Starting fresh is at same time challenging and invigorating. But I’m not doing this alone. Patch is a community and I look forward to learning all that I can about Palos Heights, Palos Park and Palos Hills. I've already visited some wonderful places, like the beautiful , and sampled some of the delicious food at .
