One Year Later: Remembering the Blizzard of 2011

Today's warm temps stand in contrast to the piles of snow we were faced with last year.

What a difference a year makes.

It was one year ago today that the Chicago area was blanketed in almost two feet of snow. Cars were snowed in, streets were impassable and kids looking to build snowmen had to wade through the waste-deep white stuff.

Today, not a speck of snow or ice is on the ground. The unseasonably warm temperatures makes a major snowfall a distant thought.
