PIONEER FESTIVAL AND PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Where/When:
Pilcher Park Nature Center, 2501 Highland Park Dr. in Joliet, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon
Why Go:
Enjoy pancakes with pure maple syrup and sausage for breakfast and stay for a maple syrup making demonstration. Try your hand at pioneer chores including butter churning and ice cream making. Watch pioneer re-enactors show you how things used to be done around the home. Exhibits and breakfast go on rain, snow or shine.
