Palos Park Village Tree Lighting & Holiday Market

What better way to welcome in the Holiday Season than with neighbors, family, and friends at this new Village event. The Holiday Market will be open Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on the Village Green 8901 W. 123rd St. An outdoor heated tent will feature craft and merchandise vendors, beverages, and holiday cheer. Listen to choirs and bells as you shop for holiday gifts and wait for Santa to arrive. Santa and Mayor Mahoney will illuminate the Village tree around 6:45 p.m. Following the official Tree Lighting, Santa will be available for visits and photos. Food vendors will be inside the recreation center lower-level. Outside, you can enjoy Hayrack rides, provided by The Center and a warm bonfire. This event has something for everyone. For additional information, call 708-671-3700 or visit palospark.org.
