Really Learn How to Dress Yourself

The Palos Heights Public Library is hosting a program on choosing clothing for fit and style for body types, rather than feeling nostalgic for bygone fashions from decades past.

A wise man once told me clothes don’t make the man, but you never have a second chance to make a first impression.

Keep that in mind while choosing garbs for the day, when you foolishly reach for the acid washed jeans because you heard REO Speedwagon on the radio earlier that day.

Enter wardrobe consultant Pat Kwas, who will be guiding wayward fashionistas 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Palos Heights Public Library for a program on dressing properly.

In other words, Kwas will show attendees how to choose flattering clothing for their actual shapes and sizes, and not because you feel like connecting with your kids by wearing old concert tshirts from the 1970s.
