New Middle Eastern Restaurant Chain Opens on Lagrange
The local and growing Middle Eastern restaurant chain known for their fresh shawarma, pitas and falafel has set up shop nearby.
A new Middle Eastern restaurant opened in Orland Park on Monday.
Naf Naf Grill is located at 15110 S. LaGrange Rd., next to Sarku Japan and Jimmy John’s.
The menu includes shawarma (marinated chicken or beef slow roasted on a rotating spit), falafel (deep fried mix of chick peas, herbs and spices), hummus, baba ghanoush (similar to hummus but made with eggplant instead of chickpeas), chip-like French fries, pitas, salads, rice and fried chicken schnitzel, a German classic also common in Israel.

Naf Naf Grill first opened in Naperville by Sahar Sander and Elan Burger in 2009, and quickly built a following with their fresh takes on Middle Eastern classics. Popularity built as they maintained strict freshness standards and baked pitas in-house. David Sloan and Justin Halpenny soon partnered up and they began to open up more locations in the west suburbs.
The Orland Park location will be the seventh location in the Chicago area, including two within the city. Locations in Evanston and Lincolnshire are on the way.
