Children Farm's Fall Fest This Saturday

The annual Children's Farm Fall Fest at The Center takes place this Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Amazingly, this is the 71st year the event has taken place. Admission is $2 for children and $4 for adults.

The event will feature games, pumpkin painting, horse rides, scarecrow making and a tour of the barns. Like any good fall fest, there will also be hayrack ride, live music and plenty of craft booths. 

Available for purchase will be a wide selection of freshly picked pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks and the pumpkin patch will be open for those who would like to "pick-their-own."

Freshly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and other goodies will be on sale for lunch.

The Children's Farm is located at 12700 Southwest Highway in Palos Park.
