This drop-in program will help little ones develop gross motor and socialization skills while enhancing parent/child interaction. Adults and other care givers will be able to network with other parents in the community as well as make connections for future play dates. We'll supply the balls, mats and other age appropriate gym toys so everyone can run, jump and shout to their hearts' content in our gymnasium. No need to worry about the snow and cold...there's always perfect weather in our facility! NOTE: An adult must accompany and supervise his/her own child during this program. No supervisor is on duty. Provisions must also be made for siblings too old to participate. For safety reasons they will not be allowed into the gym and they may not be left unattended in the facility.

If you want to take an aerobic class, enroll your child in summer camp or even learn how to paint watercolors, the Palos Heights Parks and Recreation Department is the place for you. The department occupies a large community center that contains classrooms, a preschool, a gym, tennis courts, dance studios and workout rooms. Classes are offered in a variety of areas and change seasonally. The very popular summer camp keeps kids occupied during their time away from school. The newly renovated workout rooms and dance studios are also increasingly popular. The Palos Heights swimming pool and all public parks are managed through this department.
