As part of Moraine Valley Community College’s Career Paths and Coffee adult information sessions, a speaker series will begin with “Tips for the Mature Job Seeker.” This free event is Saturday, March 10, 8:30-11 a.m., in Building M on campus, 9000 W. College Pkwy in Palos Hills.
Siggy Letheby, regional recruitment coordinator for the Department of Labor, is the guest speaker and will discuss how adults can increase their value in the job market and what makes potential employees marketable.
Sign-in begins at 8:30 a.m. with refreshments before the presentation begins at 9 a.m. There also will be time for questions.
Career Paths and Coffee sessions are hour-long gatherings each month on all three of Moraine Valley’s campuses and at district libraries that provide information for adults interested in learning about programs and resources at Moraine Valley in a relaxed setting. The next session on the main campus in Building S, Room S117A, is Wednesday, March 7 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
