Who is Running for Office in Palos Heights?
Incumbents are expected to make up most of the ballot for the City of Palos Heights.
Palos Heights voters will see a lot of familiar names on the April 9 ballot.
Only one seat during this round of municipal elections will have a new face. Alderman Jeff Prestinario is not seeking reelection for this 1st Ward position. Donald Bylut, who previously ran against Prestinario for the aldermanic spot, is the only candidate to file for that race.
One position in each of the city's four wards is up this election cycle.

Mayor Robert Straz, as well as City Treasurer Frank Oswald and Clerk Thomas Kantas, are looking for voters to keep them in office this April.
