Two Lawn Mowers Stolen in Palos Park
A man stopped for gas and had two lawnmowers taken from the back of his truck.
The start of the spring season means yard work, it apparently also means stealing lawn mowers.
Wednesday afternoon a man stopped for gas at the Citgo on 123rd Street and 80th Avenue, police said. In the back of his pickup truck were two lawn mowers.
Two males in a white SUV-type vehicle with a long scratch on the side then took the lawnmowers out of the truck and drove away, police said.
The vehicle had temporary Illinois plates and was believed to have fled eastbound down 123rd Street, police said.
