Trailblazer Gets Away; DUI Charge for Willow Springs Man: Blotter
Palos Hills police reports, Feb. 26 to March 1.
TJ Guzier, 25, of Willow Springs, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, squealing tire and driving with a loud muffler, according to a report. Police spotted Guzier's vehicle at about 4:30 a.m. near the 10100 block of Roberts Road. It was traveling fast and squealed its tires. During a traffic stop, police were able to smell a strong order of alcohol on his breath. Field sobriety tests were conducted, which Guzier allegedly failed. He was given an April 23 court date.
Gold Trailblazer Gets Away
Police tried to stop a gold Trailblazer at about 6:45 a.m. near the area of 103rd Street and Roberts Road. The SUV made an illegal turn on northbound Roberts Road and refused to stop for police. It was last seen southbound on La Grange Road. Police are investigating.
Theft of $120
Police were called to Palos Extended Care, 10426 S. Roberts Rd. regarding a theft. The victim told police someone took $120 from his room.
Criminal Trespass to Apartment
Dionte Jimerson, 31, of Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass to a residence, according to a police report. Police were called at about 10 a.m. to the area of 10000 South Hill Terrace, where they spoke with the manager of Green Oaks Apartments. The manager said a tenant informed her about an open door in the building. After conducting an investigation, police arrested Jimerson on March 1 for allegedly gaining access to the apartment. He is due in court April 4.
