Adopt Me

This Week's Pets: Rhett, Declan, Fergus, Sawyer and Bria

The five friendly hound-lab puppies are a few of the many pets at PAWS of Tinley Park looking for a home.

In a departure from our normal focus on a single pet, this week we have five sibling puppies available for adoption. The mixed lab-hound puppies came from a shelter in Kentucky where they were about to be euthanized. PAWS of Tinley Park stepped in and the curious canines were brought here for adoption.

The siblings are three and a half months old, and for the past six weeks have been dividing their time between the shelter and a volunteer's home.  The four males and one female have cheerful dispositions and are well behaved for such young animals, said PAWS staff.  They all get along well with children.

In addition to their love of investigative sniffing, the puppies look forward to mealtime. As of right now they weigh in at about 26 pounds, and will probably grow to about 70 pounds. The puppies just became available for adoption on Monday, Oct. 11.

Take a look at the video to see the puppies in action.

Rhett – Black and White

Fergus – Larger Brown

Declan – Smaller Brown

Sawyer – Black

Bria – Chocolate

Oh no! Do I risk watching this and ending up with another dog?
