Student Fibs, Says Another Student Had Gun at School: Police
A female student at Stagg High School is charged with disorderly conduct.
Police say a student at Stagg High School lied when she claimed another student had a gun on Halloween.
The female juvenile was arrested at about 10 a.m. on Oct. 31 at the Palos Hills high school and charged with disorderly conduct, Palos Hills police said.
Officers were called to the high school, located at 8015 W. 111th St., by Stagg employees. Officials told police who came to the school that the female student had walked around the school, telling other students at a boy had a gun.
Police investigated and found that the female student had made up the story. The male student did not have a gun.
The female student is set to appear in Juvenile Court at the Bridgeview courthouse.
