St. Alexander's sign on Harlem Avenue looks a little worse for wear.
An Orland Park man was cited on Nov. 5 after his car smashed into the Catholic parish's stone sign.
Police said the elderly man blacked out and didn't remember swearving off the roadway. He was taken to Palos Community Hospital for treatment.
The driver was cited for driving without insurance and improper lane use.
