Watch Out for a Hazy Drive on South LaGrange
Several readers were alert Sunday night to smoke near Forest Preserve land.
Drivers on South LaGrange Road northwest of Palos Hills might have noticed a haze in the air Sunday night.
A controlled burn apparently is underway on Forest Preserve District of Cook County land in the area.
Westbound 95th Street was closed to traffic Sunday night.
A thanks goes to Palos Patch readers, who alerted us to the heavy smoke in the area. Two readers in Palos Heights reported breathing issues.
