Palos Heights paid tribute to all those who have served at a Veterans Day ceremony Friday morning.
Members of the Orland-Palos VFW Post were on hand for the ceremony held in front of the Veterans Memorial in Community Park.
"Most of us are just ordinary citizens who answered the call of duty when it sounded," said Ed Pahl during the ceremony.
