Palos Hills Man Attacks Woman
Zachary Hines, 24, of Palos Hills, was charged with battery, according to a police report. Officers were called at about 2:20 a.m. to the area of 10300 S. 75th Ave., because of a fight. Several people told police that Hines had left the party. After tracking him down, police talked to the victim and witnesses who said Hines grabbed the woman by the throat after being asked to leave and three her against a door. He was booked and given a court date of Dec. 5.
Four Girls Questioned in Battery
Police said four female juveniles were questioned about a battery at about 10 p.m. near the 10600 block of 82nd Court. A witness told police a girl was being attacked by four other girls. They then left the area. Police caught up with the group but released them after the parent of the victim declined to sign complaints.

Man Found Yelling in the Middle of the Street
John Hargan, 28, of Arlington Heights, was charged with disorderly conduct, according to a police report. Police were called to a fight at about 6:15 a.m. near 8600 W. 99th St. Officers found Hargan yelling in the middle of the street and smelling strongly of alcohol. Neighbors told police they just wanted him to leave. Hargan continued to stay and police arrested him. He was booked and given a court date of Dec. 5.
