New Half Marathon Logo Unveiled
Firs Midwest Bank and Barcelona Creative unveiled a new logo for the half marathon race that courses through Palos Heights and Palos Park every May.
After five years it was time for a change.
The Half Marathon has a new logo courtesy of local company . The logo will be featured on all promotional materials used for the race that attracts 2,000-plus runners each year.
Over the race's first five years $125,000 has been raised for various causes.

In addition to the new logo, the race will get a shorter name. "southwest" has been dropped from the official title.
