Heroin Charge for Gurnee Woman, Vicodin Pills Go Missing: Blotter

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 5

Youths Fighting

Two juveniles were arrested in the 8000 block of 103rd Terrace and charged with battery, according to a police report. Officers were called to investigate a fight at about 2:59 p.m. Both juveniles were released to their parents.

Vicodin Pills Go Missing

A woman who lives in the 10000 block of South Hill Terrace told police that about 60 Vicodin pills went missing from her apartment, according to a report. She said the pills were taken from inside her locked apartment.

SATURDAY, DEC. 8

No One Hurt in Fire Started by Cigarette

Police assisted firefighters at about 1:01 a.m. with a small fire, according to a report. Someone had left a lit cigarette under a blanket. No one was injured and no property damage was reported.

SUNDAY, DEC. 9

Heroin Charge for Gurnee Woman

Kathleen A. Hellman, 20, of Gurnee, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to a police report. Police arrived at around 6:27 p.m. for a disturbance and reportedly learned that Hellman had heroin.

MONDAY, DEC. 10

DUI Charge for Palos Heights Driver

Daniel D. Nelligan, 36, of Palos Heights, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and having a revoked drivers license, according to a report. Nelligan was arrested at about 12:05 a.m. in the 10600 block of Roberts Road.
