A car parked in a driveway on McIntosh Drive disappeared overnight, police said.

This is a great reason to lock your cars at night and, if you can, park them in a garage.

A car parked in a driveway in the 7700 block of McIntosh Drive was reported stolen, according to a Palos Heights police report.

The victim told police that the car was left at about 8 p.m. on Feb. 25. By the next morning, the car was gone without a trace.

Thanks for reporting this incident. I check the Police Blotter regularly, but it seems like most of the reporting is for DUI's or speeding. I'm more interested in police activity going on in the neighborhood. I walk quite a bit and am surprised at how many vans and trucks I see cruising up and down the streets. I may see the same vehicle 2 or 3 times during the course of a long walk. It makes me wonder what they are up to, especially when the driver is wearing a hoodie or ski cap.
