Bank at TCF? Here's a Police Report You Should Read

A Calumet City woman is accused of keeping customer information at a Palos Heights TCF branch.

An employee of a TCF Bank branch in Palos Heights is accused of keeping customer information.

Litoria Yates, 27, of Calumet City, is charged with unlawful transmitting of personal information.

Representatives from TCF, located at 6410 W. 127th St., called Palos Heights Police Department to inform officers about an employee who was illegally holding onto information about bank customers.

Police interviewed Yates and charged her on Jan. 11. She was given a $1,500 bond and a court date of March 5.

I used to bank at TCF, until I realized they treat their customers like they are deadbeat criminals. They hold deposits for days and look and give you dirty looks if you try to cash a check. I used to have to cash my paycheck at Palos Bank then deposit the cash at TCF so they would be forced to credit my account immediately instead of the 5 days they make you wait with a paper check. This is the lowest class bank in the industry and I wonder why people put up with them when there are so many other options.

I've been banking at TCF for over 15 yrs. Never had a complaint.
