7-Eleven Opens on College Drive

A grand opening is scheduled for Nov. 9.

The new 7-Eleven location is open for business in Palos Heights.

Convenience store employees are planning a grand opening event for the public on Nov. 9. Coupons and gift card giveaways will be a part of the celebration from noon to 3 p.m.

The location will be open 24 hours a day and was approved for a liquor license in August.

7-Eleven is located at 11900 S. Harlem Ave. in the space between Tastee Freez and Mona Lisa.

I'm curious to see how this new store does. We had a 7-Eleven on Harlem where Papa's Fresh Foods is now. I don't know why that one closed, but maybe this one will do better. I think there are only so many little convenience stores that can make it and it feels like in PH when one closes another opens and as that one is opening another is closing.

TOUGH ON THE INSIDE

Tim,
The one that was East of Harlem was staffed with total morons!!! I'm hoping they learned from their previous mistakes. The new one is larger, more modern and cleaner, Maybe it being West of Harlem will help too. I know a lot kids that frequent it now because they don't have to cross Harlem to get there.

TOUGH ON THE INSIDE

My wife allows us to leave to the house to go out with our friends (Mam(m)a snap), cooks, bakes and always finishes her brisket (not code)! Did I mention she always finishes her brisket? That one was code!

P.S. You're not as smart as you think you are! My Employee Of The Month picture had me holding my mongoloid Cockapoo cat!

You seem to be obsessed with anything that looks and smells like a COCKapoo...
