April B. Ruffin has joined MidAmerica Hand to Shoulder Clinic as practice administrator. In conjunction with the executive practice administrator, Ruffin will ensure all operations of the practice are managed effectively and efficiently in order to provide excellent service to patients.

Ruffin brings more than 15 years of diverse experience in finance, administration and management. She has exceptional leadership abilities with expertise in training and development. Other duties include restructuring human resources management, developing protocols to operate profit centers efficiently and overseeing construction projects.

Ruffin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Chicago’s DeVry University. Currently, she is pursuing an MBA from Olivet Nazarene University Bourbonnais.
